A native Clevelander, Dr. Evan Tetelman graduated from Cleveland Heights High School (1971), Miami University (1975) and The Ohio State University College of Dentistry (1979). He then completed a Graduate Practice Residency at the Long Island College Hospital in Brooklyn New York and also received a certificate in oral pathology from the Sloan Kettering Hospital.
In 1980, Dr. Tetelman returned to the Cleveland area and joined our prestigious practice.
Dr. Tetelman’s diagnostic and surgical skills allow him to provide a wide range of in-office specialty type care for his patients. The creation of healthy beautiful smiles has always been his goal, and sharing that with his patients is his singular honor.
He has been involved in dental education for the past thirty-five years. He taught comprehensive dentistry at the Mount Sinai Medical Center for nineteen years and later joined The Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine as an Associate Professor. He is the co-director of three implant training courses at the University and also trains four residents in advanced restorative dentistry within the Advanced Dental Residency Program.
Dr. Tetelman has been involved in multiple research studies in dental implant therapies and has been a national lecturer in the areas of dental implant restorative therapy. He has also authored several articles on implant therapy and recently a chapter on complex care in a dental implant textbook. He has been honored to be listed in Best Dentists and Who’s Who in America.
When he is out of the office Dr. Tetelman enjoys skiing, scuba diving and traveling with his best friend, Terry.
