A native of Cleveland, he received a Bachelor of Science degree and a Doctor of Dental Surgery from Western Reserve University, He received advanced training in a Dental Residency Program at the Mount Sinai Hospital of Cleveland. During that one year he trained in Implant and Restorative Dentistry. He then spent two years as a Lieutenant serving in the US Navy in Memphis, Tenn. where he provided dental services to personnel at the Naval Air Station. As part of the burgeoning field of Dental Implants and as a Clinical Instructor for 25 years in the General Residency program at Mt Sinai Hospital, he made major contributions to the education of dentists throughout the country as well as treating many patients who were anxious to receive great dental care.
During his years in practice and as a member of the Greater Cleveland Dental Society and Chairman of the Continuing Education Committee and Editor of the Cleveland Dental Society Bulletin, he made many contributions to increase the dental health of the citizens of Northeast Ohio. He authored a chapter in a noted textbook on Implantology. His focus has been on Preventive Dentistry and Implant Prostheses . Recently, as an active member of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, he is also treating patients suffering from Obstructive Sleep Apnea by designing and providing treatment with specialized oral appliances.
