In order to fully evaluate a patient's needs, and to be able to provide to them the treatment that they desire, each and every one of our patients receives a comprehensive restorative analysis at the start of their experience in our office.
This evaluation consists of some or all of the following steps:
- A visual analysis of the condition of each existing restoration
- A physical inspection of the seal of those restorations
- A graphic listing all of a patients prior restorative care
- A radiographic inspection to expose any sub-surface problems
- An analysis of the meshing of the upper and lower teeth
- A set of diagnostic models of the existing teeth.
- A magnified intra-oral camera survey of the mouth and teeth
- A panoramic radiographic survey of the jaw and jaw joints
- A careful inspection of the soft and hard supporting tissues
At periodic dates during a patients tenure in our office, many of these steps are repeated to assure our patients continued stability. All of these parts are then put together to provide for each and every one of our patients a plan for their own dental health.
