If you are concerned or confused by a treatment recommended to you by another office, the doctors of Streem, Resnick, Tetelman & Young would be pleased to provide a second evaluation for you.
Our expertise and experience allow us to carefully analyze any dental condition and provide either confirmation of the treatment presented to you or an alternative treatment direction.
When you call to arrange an appointment with one of our scheduling coordinators, let them know that you are concerned about a treatment recommendation from another dentist. They will arrange an examination time with one of our doctors for you.
Please bring any current radiographs and models that may have been used in making your previous diagnosis. In most instances, our doctors will need these items to be able to fully evaluate your needs and either confirm your proposed treatment or recommend an alternative course of action. If you are uncomfortable requesting these items from your current dentist, we can take our own records here in our office.
Once we have evaluated and advised you of your situation, you can determine if you wish to return to your current dentist. Of course, you are always welcome to transfer to our office and join our family of patients.
